26 - Parmanand - The Eternal Bliss

The great Kavi (poet) Tulsidas Ji uses the katha of Manu & Satrupa to show how the ultimate happiness, the eternal bliss can be achieved by human beings when they attain the state of a Brahman.

Hindu scriptures are not a source of guidance for Hindus only but for all mankind. According to Hindu scriptures Brahman is a state of complete freedom (Nirvana, enlightenment) attained by any human being.

Manu in Sanskrit means Mind. Satrupa in sankrit means Truth or True Form.

When the Mind is ruled by Truth only then one is free of all the 7 Shatrus - Kaam, Krodh, lobh, Moh...etc

करहिं अहार साक फल कंदा। सुमिरहिं ब्रह्म सच्चिदानंदा।। (1/144/1)
Karahi ahaar saak fal kanda; Sumirahi Brahma Satchidananda.
Eating Saak (bhaaji) fruits and root crops (Kanda), they meditate to the source of ultimate happiness and bliss. (A bit hard to mediate with food made from the carcass of dead animals !)

In email 12 - Chatnaar Vriksha the concept of GOD and religions was somewhat explained. Sitting under the shady tree are us the humans. The shade is the knowledge (gyan) that gives us shanti in times of turmoil. The shady tree is the religion or the Gods under which we align ourselves. Most of us cannot or do not want to see beyond the tree. When the TRUTH is revealed to the Yogi & Sadhu, only then do they realise that there is something beyond the tree that provides the shade - The Sun.

संभु बिरंचि बिष्नु भगवाना। उपजहिं जासु अंस तें नाना।।
Sambhu Biranchi Vishnu bhagwana; Upjahi jaasu ans te nana.

Who are they meditating to ? Jis ke ans se Brahma (Biranchi) Vishnu aur Mahesh (Sambhu) janam lete hay ! Someone who is beyond and above Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Krishna, Ram, Sai, Nanak, Jesus, Mohammed. When one achieves the free state of Brahman one lifts oneself above the petty divisions of caste, race, colour, sects, sex, religions, etc.  If your enmity is based on any of these divisions then we have a loooong way to go to achieve the Brahman state.

Why do we have so many Gods, dieties, semi Gods & Demi Gods ? There is only One God. The rest are just ways to get to HIM.

Hindu scripture, like all other holy books, has enormous lessons for a wonderful happy life. Guru jano ki kripa se, Prabhu ki asheervaad se - whatever I understand I try to explain in my tooti-footi words. Please do not misinterpret this as Updesh - I'm not trying to lecture you ! This is not an Adesh - I'm not trying to order you around ! Please accept this as a beautiful Sandesh - a message of happiness, freedom and a small step towards the ultimate goal !

Hamaare Guru Jan ki Jay Ho !
Guru Ji baar baar samjha rahe hay, bata rahe hay, gyan baat rahe hay, lekin mere mun mein utna hi gaya jo mere choti buddhi samajh saki

Muskuraate raho !

So I can, and I will, only tell you what I have understood. This may not be the best you have heard, please forgive me and my little brain !
