81 - Bhay Pragat Kripaala Deendayaala- Part 2

Ram Ram, Namaste, Hare Krishna, Namaskaaram, Sai Ram, Bula, Salaam, Sat Shri Akaal ! 
Guru Jan Ko Pranaam !!   
 
Undoubtly, this will be the most sung Cchand during Ram Naumi, All around the world. 

It is a very long Cchand so we have split it in 2 parts. 


ब्रह्मांड निकाया निर्मित माया रोम रोम प्रति बेद कहै।
Brahmaand nikaaya nirmit maya rom rom prati Ved kahe
Maya se rachi (nirmit, made) huwi aneko (nikaaya, lots) Brahmaand aap ke rom rom (hair on your body) mein hay, aisa Ved, Puraan ne bataya hay.

मम उर सो बासी यह उपहासी सुनत धीर पति थिर न रहै।।
Mum ur so baasi yah uphaasi sunat dhir pati thir na rahe
Aap ka itna bhaari viraat roop hay. Agar koi kahe ki Aap mere udar (garv, stomach) mein rahe (vaas) ho, to ye to hasi mazaak ki baat hogi ! Koi bhi dhir (serious) buddhi waale ka man bhi sthir (thir) na rah payga, has (smile) dega.
उपजा जब ग्याना प्रभु मुसकाना चरित बहुत बिधि कीन्ह चहै।
Upja jab gyaana Prabhu muskaana charit bahut bidhi keenh chahe
Jab mata ko gyaat (realisation, came to her senses) huwa ki viraat (unfathomble) Prabhu mere udar mein kaha chip (hide) sakte hay, ye to unka ek charit (leela, naatak) hay -  tab Prabhu muskaan (smile) karte hay
कहि कथा सुहाई मातु बुझाई जेहि प्रकार सुत प्रेम लहै।।
Kahi katha suhaai maatu bujhaai jehi prakaar sut prem lahe
Muskuraa kar Prabhu Kashyap-Aditi, aur Manu-Satroopa ki katha sunaate hay. Mata ko samjhaate (bujhaate) hay ki aap ne hame putra ke roop mein manga tha. Ab may aa gaya hoo aap ko putra sukh dene ke liye. Aap is sukh ka anand looto.
माता पुनि बोली सो मति डौली तजहु तात यह रूपा।
Mata puni boli so mati doli tajahu taat yah roopa
Prabhu ki baat sun kar mata ki mati (buddhi) doli (pariwartan, change). Abhi tak Prabhu ke roop mein dekhti thi, ab putra ka sukh paana chahti hay. Prabhu se vinati karti hay ki he taat, yah adbhut, chaturbhuj roop ka tyaag (give up) kijiye.
कीजै सिसुलीला अति प्रियसीला यह सुख परम अनूपा।।
Kijay sisuleela ati priye sila yah sukh param anoopa
He Prabhu ! Is chaturbhuj roop ko tyaag kar ab sishu (baalak, baby) leela kijiye. Kaise kijiye ? Ati (extreme) priye (love) sila (bhavna, feeling, affection) se. Yah sukh param anoopa (upma rahit, unmatched, uncomparable). Ek mata aur unke bacche ke beech jo pyar hota hay, wahi prem Prabhu aur unke bhakt ke beech hota hay. Kewal do hi jagah par waatsalye shabd prayog (use) kiya jata hay. Ek Prabhu waatsalye hay aur doosri mata ka pyaar waatsalye hay. Waatsalye kya hay ? Unconditional love ! Badle mein (in return) woh kuch nahi chahti hay ! Sada deti hi rahti hay ! Hamaari maa to anoopa hay, unki tarah to koi hay hi nahi ! Aaj SABHI mataao ko pranaam !
सुनि बचन सुजाना रोदन ठाना होइ बालक सुरभूपा।
Suni bachan Sujaana rodan thaana hoi baalak Surbhupa
Mata Kaushalya ki baat (bachan) sun kar Sujaan (Prabhu, sabhi kuch jannane waale), Sur (Devta) Bhoop (raja, king). Jo samast (all) devtaao ke raja hay, aaj Kaushalya ke god mein baal leela karte huwe, chote bacche ki tarah rone (rodan) lage. Delivery room mein jab baccha paida hota hay to jor se rota hay. Agar nahi rota to daktar uske chootar par ek thappad lagaata hay !
यह चरित जे गावहिं हरिपद पावहिं ते न परहिं भवकूपा।।
Yah charit je gaawahi Haripad paawahi ten a parahi bhowkoopa
Yah Prabhu ki leela ko jo samajh jaayega, wahi Hari (Prabhu) pad (charan) kamal paa sakta hay. Jo Prabhu ke prem ko pa liya, bhakti ko pa liya, use phir jeevan mein sukh hi sukh, phir kabhi dukh jhelna nahi padta
दो0-बिप्र धेनु सुर संत हित लीन्ह मनुज अवतार।
निज इच्छा निर्मित तनु माया गुन गो पार।।192।।
Vipra Dhenu Sur Sant hit Leenh manuj autaar
Nij iccha nirmit tanu maya gun go paar

Vipra, Dhenu, Sur aur Sant – ye pryayvaachi (synonyms, similar meaning) hay.
Vipra = Brahman. Yaha brahman ka arth jo satsangh se gyan prapt karke samaaj ko baat-ta hay, samaaj ko upar uthaata hay, samaaj ko bhramit nahi, samaaj ka kalyaan karta hay.
Dhenu = Bhakti. Gaay bhakti ka roop hay. Bhakt jan bhi sada samaaj ka kalyaan hi karte hay, bhed bhao, unch neech ko tyaag kar sabhi ko ek samaan dekht hay. Bhakti mayi Mata Shabri se Prabhu yahi kahte hay. Saatwa bhakti - सातवँ सम मोहि मय जग देखा। Jo saare samaaj ko Prabhu ki drishti se dekhta hay. जाति पाँति कुल धर्म बड़ाई। Jaati, kul, dharam, badaai,  ye sab mai nahi maanta. मानउँ एक भगति कर नाता।। May kewal ek bhagti ki nata ko maanta hu !
Sur = Devta. Jo samaaj ko deta jyaada hay aur leta kam hay, wahi Devta hay. Sada samaaj ki kalyaan hi karta hay. Surya devta, Chandrama devta, Wayu devta – sabhi ko ek baraabar, bina bhed baho ke, dete rahte hay.
Sant = gyaani, Vairaagi. Sabhi kuch tyaag kar bas samaaj kalyaan mein apna jeevan bita dete hay. Na ghar na pariwaar ki chinta. Saara sansaar ghar hay aur saara samaaj pariwaar hay. मोतें संत अधिक करि लेखा।। Sant jano ko mujh se adhik maan sammaan dena !
Ye chaaro shabd acche (good) jan ka prateek hay. Jo bhi log in chaar varn (caste) mein nahi padta who Asur (raakshas, evil, monster) kahlaata hay.
 Sant, Sujaan logo ko Raakshaso se bachaane ke liye hi Prabhu le manush roop mein autaar liya hay.

भए प्रगट कृपाला दीनदयाला कौसल्या हितकारी।
Bhay pragat Kripala Deendayaala Kausalya hitkaari
Sabhi par Kripa (grace) karne waale, deeno par daya (kind) karne waale, aur Kausalya ma ke manorath (wishes) ko puran karne ke liye Prabhu pragat (appear) ho gaye, autar le liye. Kya manorath ? Satrupa ke roop mein var manga tha ki Prabhu mere putra bane. Dayalu Kripalu aaj mera putra bannana bhi swikaar kar liya.
हरषित महतारी मुनि मन हारी अद्भुत रूप बिचारी।।
Harshit mahtaari muni man haari adbhut roop bichaari
Kis roop mein pragat huwe ? Adbhut (abnormal) roop. Chaturbhuj (4 hands) roop. Muni jan bhi isi roop ka darshan ke abhilaashi (longing, desire) rahte hay. Is roop ko saakshaat (in front of her) dekh kar mata harshit (delighted) ho gayi.
लोचन अभिरामा तनु घनस्यामा निज आयुध भुज चारी।
Lochan abhirama tanu ghansyaama nij aayudh bhuj chaari
Prabhu ke tan (body) kaale (syam) baarid (paani barsaane waale) baadal (ghan, megh) ke samaan kaale hay jo mata ke aankho (lochan) ko aaraam, aanand (abhiram) de raha hay.
Apne (nij) chaar (chaari) bhujaaon mein aayudh (weapon, arms) liye huwe hay. Jo bhi roop mein dekhna chaaho ! Vishnu bhagwaan ke roop mein to shankh, chakra, gadaa, padam. Ram ji ke roop mein to dhanush aur baan haath mein liye huwe.
भूषन बनमाला नयन बिसाला सोभासिंधु खरारी।।
Bhushan banmaala nayan bisaala sobhasindhu kharaari
Bhushan (ornaments, jewellery) aur banmaala (long garland from neck to toe) pahne huwe hay, nayan bisaala (big beautiful eyes) shobha sindhu (extremely handsome) kharaari (Khar, Ravan ka bhai, enemy). Khar-Dushan se ladne gaye the to apna sundar roop dikhaaya aur saare dushman lubhaaymaan (attracted) ho gaye. Jis ka roop itna sundar ho, jise dekh kar dushman bhi mohit ho jaay, wahi sobha sindhu hay.
कह दुइ कर जोरी अस्तुति तोरी केहि बिधि करौं अनंता।
Kah dui kar jori astuti tori kehi bidhi karau Ananta
Mata Kaushalya dono haath jord kar prarthana karti hay ki He Ananta (Prabhu) ! may aap ki pooja, vandana kis prakaar karu ?
माया गुन ग्यानातीत अमाना बेद पुरान भनंता।।
Maya gun gyaanaatit amaana Ved Puraan Bhananta
Ateet = above and beyond, who has control over.
Maya ateet (Maya aap ke bas mein hay), gun ateet (teeno guno se paripoorna (complete) ho), gyan ateet (saare gyan aap hi se shuru hote hay), aap Amaan (aap ko koi maan nahi de sakta, aap hi sabhi ko maan dete ho), Ved aur Puraan (the scriptures) isi tarah samjaate aur bataate hay.
Jo ye sabhi gun aap mein hay, to may kis bidhi (prakaar) se aap ki vandana karu ?
करुना सुख सागर सब गुन आगर जेहि गावहिं श्रुति संता।
Karuna sukh sagar sab gun aagar jehi gawahi shruti santa
Karuna (daya, compassion, kindness) aur sukh (eternal happiness) ke sagar (bhandaar, abundance) ho, sabhi gun (Sato, Rajo & Tamo) ke aagaar (ghar, dhaam, khaan, extreme amount) ho, yahi hamaari Ved, upanishad aur Puraan (Shruti) aur Sadhu Sant jan gaya karte hay. To may aap ki vandana kaise karu ?
सो मम हित लागी जन अनुरागी भयउ प्रगट श्रीकंता।।
So mum hit laagi jan anuraagi bhayau pragat Shrikanta
Apne bhakto se prem (anuraag) karne waale Prabhu, Aap ne ne aaj meri tapasya ka laaj rakhne ke liye, meri hit (favour) ke liye autaar liya hay.

79 – Lanka Ka Aasan – Attempted Axplanation

लंका  का  आसन  – Attempted Axplanation


तहँ तरु किसलय सुमन सुहाए। लछिमन रचि निज हाथ डसाए।।
ता पर रूचिर मृदुल मृगछाला। तेहीं आसान आसीन कृपाला।। (RCM 6/11)

लंका  का  आसन  को  चारों  आसनों  में  अहंकार (pride)  माना जाता  हैरावन  अहंकार  का  प्रतीक  (symbol) है . राम  जी एक  ग्यानी  साधक  और  लक्षमण  जी  वैराग्य (detachement from worldly pleasures) है . लंका  का  आसन  लक्षमण  जी अपने  हि हाथों  से  बनाया  और  सजाया हैयह एक संकेतित (implied)  भाषा हैएक  ग्यानी  साधक  केवल  वैराग्य  के आसन पर  विराजमान  (take control of) हो  कर  हि  अहंकार  को  पराजित  (defeat) कर  पता  है .


वैराग्य  त्याग ”  है . Detachment from the material pleasures. रजा  दसरथ , हम  सब  कि तरह , एक  आम  (common)साध्जक  हैज्ञान  मेंताकत में  कमी  नहीं , त्याग  कम  है . चौथा  पन (old age) में  भी  केकई  से  अधिक  मोह है.


 रजा  दसरथ  का  अयोध्या  के  सिंघासन  पर  बैठते  समय  लंका  के  सिंघासन  पर  रावन  बैठा  होता  है . दसमुख (Ravan) और  दसरथ  अलग  अलग  सिंघासनों  पर  बैठे  हुवे  है  ! ये राम राज्ये नहीं है !

हम  प्रभु  को  मन  में  बसाय हुवे  है  पर  अहंकार मोह , माया , काम  आदि  शत्रु  हमारे  अन्दर  विराजमान  है . इसी  लिए हमें  मुक्ति  (absolute freedom) नहीं  मिलती .
 श्री  राम  समझाते  है  कि  जब  तक  इस  संसार  में  (हमारे  शरीर  में ) रावन  (अहंकार , evil) का  राज  है  तब  तक  कोई भी  ग्यानी  साधक  (भक्त ) को अयोध्या  के  सिंघासन  पर  विराजमान  नहीं  होना चाहिए .


 रावन  को  जीत  कर  प्रभु स्वय  क्यों  नहीं  लंका  के  सिंघासन  पर  विराजमान  हुवे  विभीषण  जी  को  क्यों राज दिया  ? विभीषण  कौन  है  ?



 सब  मिली  जाहू  बिभीषण  साथ ; सारेहु  तिलक  कहेउ  रघुनाथा (RCM 6/105)


रावन  के  मर  जाने  के  बाद लक्षमण सुग्रीव , अंगद , नल -नील , हनुमान जी  को  प्रभु  ने  आग्या दी  कि  बिभीषण  को  ले जा  कर  के  पूरे  राजसी  रस्म -रिवाज  (regal protocols) से  उनका  राज  तिलक  करो .
 बिभिसन  जीव  (soul) का  प्रतीक  है . प्रभु  समझाना  चाहते  है  कि  जब  भक्त  हमें  अपने  मन  में श्रद्धा  से  (with conviction), बसा  लेता  है  तो फिर  वे  अहंकार  और  सारे  शत्रुवों  को  मार  कर  मन  का  खोया  हुआ  राज  सिंघासन फिरसे  जीव  को  लौटा  (return) देते  है .



प्रभु हर  जीव  से  यही  कहता  है  कि  हे  प्राणी , अगर सच्चा  सुख , शान्ति  और  परम  आनंद  चाहता  है  तो  अपने  लंका के  आसन  पर अहंकार  के  आसन  पर मन  के  आसन  पर  तुम्हे खुद  राज  करना  है !”

79 – Lanka Ka Aasan – Attempted Axplanation

तहँ तरु किसलय सुमन सुहाए। लछिमन रचि निज हाथ डसाए।।

 Lanka ka Aasan ko chaaron aasano mein “Ahankaar” (pride) mana jaata hay. Ravan Ahankaar ka prateek (symbol) hay. Ram Ji ek gyaani saadhak aur Lakshaman Ji “Vairaagye” (detachement from worldly pleasures) hay. Lanka ka aasan Lakshaman Ji apne hi haathon se banaaya aur sajaaya. Ek gyaani saadhak kewal vairaagye ke aasan par viraajmaan (take control of) ho kar hi Ahankaar ko parajit (defeat) kar pata hay.


 Vairaagye “Tyaag” hay. Detachment from the material pleasures. Raja Dasrath, hum sab ki tarah, ek aam (common) saadhjak hay. Gyan mein, taakat mein kami nahi, tyaag kam hay. Chowtha pan (old age) mein bhi Keikai se adhik moh hay.


 Raja Dasrath ka Ayodhya ke Singhaasan par baithte samay Lanka ke sighaasan par Ravan baitha hota hay. Dasmukh (Ravan) aur Dasrath alag alag singhaasanon par baithe huwe hay ! Hum, Prabhu ko man mein basaay huwe hay par Ahankaar, Moh, Maya, Kaam aadi shatru hamaare andar viraajmaan hay. Isi liye hame mukti (absolute freedom) nahi milti.

 Shri Ram samjhaate hay ki jab tak is sansaar mein (hamaare shareer mein) Ravan (ahankaar, evil) ka raaj hay tab tak koi bhi gyaani saadhak (bhakt) Ayodhya ke singhaasan par viraajmaan nahi ho sakta.


Ravan ko jeet kar sway kyu nahi Lanka ke singhaasan par viraajmaan huwe ? Vibhishan Ji ko kyu ? Vibhishan kaon hay ?


 Sab mili jaahu bibhishan saatha; saarehu tilak kaheu Raghunaatha (RCM 6/105)


Ravan ke mar jaane ke baad, Lakshaman, Sugriv, Angad, Nal-Neel, Hanumaan ko Prabhu ne aagya di ki Bibhishan ko le jaa kar ke poore raajasi rasm-riwaaj (regal protocols) se unka raj tilak karo.
 Bibhisan jeev (soul) ka prateek hay. Prabhu samjhaana chahte hay ki jab bhakt hame apne man mein, shraddha se (with conviction), basa leta hay to phir we Ahankaar aur saare shatruwon ko maar kar man ka khoya hua raaj singhaasan phir se jeev to lowta (return) dete hay.


Har jeev se yahi kahta hay ki “he praani, agar sukh, shaanti aur param anand chahta hay to apne Lanka ke aasan par, Ahankaar ke aasan par, man ke aasan par tumhe raaj karna hay.”
