वर्णानामर्थसंघानां रसानां छन्दसामपि।
मङ्गलानां च कर्त्तारौ वन्दे वाणीविनायकौ।। RCM 1/Shlok 1।।
 
Varnanaam arthsanghanaam rasanaam chandsaamapi
Mangalanaam cha kartaarow vande Vaani Vinayakow.
 
वर्नानाम (Letters and numbers) अर्थ्संघानाम  (meanings) रसानां  (the 9 Rasa that express the feelings of each emotion) छन्दसाम  (the Chands) च  (and)  मंगलानाम  (prosperity, success) कर्तारौ  (make it possible) वाणी   (Mata Saraswati) अपि  (as well as) विनायक  (Sri Ganesh Ji) वन्दे  (Worship)
 
तुलसीदास  जी  विनय  और  वंदना  करते  है. हे  अक्षरों  को  बनाने  वाले, उनके  अर्थों  को  बनाने  और  समझाने  वाले, इन  अक्षरों  से  जो  नौ  रस  प्रदान  होते  है  उनको बनाने  वाले, छंदों  को  बनाने  वाले,जिन  कि  कृपा  और  आशीर्वाद  के  बिना  हमारी  इस  अपार  रचना  सफल  नहीं  हो  पायगी, हे  माता  सरस्वती और  श्री  गणेश  प्रभु, मै आप  दोनों  को  प्रणाम  और  वंदना  करता  हु .
 
Tulsidas Ji vinay aur vandana karte hay. He aksharon ko banaane waale, unke arthon ko banaane aur samjhaane waale, in aksharon se jo no ras pradaan hote hay unko ko banaane waale, Chandon ko banaane waale, jin ki kripa aur asheervaad ke bina hamaari is apaar rachna safal nahi ho paaygi, He Mata Saraswati aur Sri Ganesh Prabhu, may aap dono ko pranaam aur vandana karta hu.

वीर रस – Veer Rasa – Heroic & Valiant
